FOUNDER - ROGER C. NAUERT
Roger C. Nauert
Roger Nauert, J.D., MBA, is the President and CEO of the Radius Health System. He has served as the CEO, Chief Administrative Officer and CFO of some of America’s leading healthcare entities, including the New York Presbyterian Health System, the Detroit Medical Center and Cook County Hospital. He has also been the National Healthcare Partner for Grant Thornton which is one of America’s largest accounting and consulting firms. Roger has been President and CEO of Radius and the predecessor RCN Associates since 1995. He is also the Vice Chairman of Global Healthcare Systems which is headquartered in Chicago with multiple facilities under development from coast to coast.
Roger’s ongoing executive responsibilities and management consulting focuses have been on strategic planning and development, operations improvement, and finance for dynamic health systems, hospitals, healthcare centers and physician groups. As an attorney, he has also been significantly involved in legal and regulatory affairs. He has his J.D. from Northwestern University, his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BS from Michigan State University.
Roger has led or participated in more than 1,000 management services and consulting engagements throughout the United States and foreign countries. Clients have included major health systems, academic medical centers, specialty care facilities, community hospitals, physician groups, government entities, and a diverse array of other healthcare providers. He has also directed management operations and strategic implementation functions for various entities.
He is a long-time member of the American Association of Healthcare Consultants. He has chaired various AAHC task forces and committees involving major trends, quality measurements and state-of-the-art standards for effective management consulting. Roger has authored more than 60 publications on a range of healthcare strategic, operational, financial and legal topics. His communications have been on current events, major trends and the needed management responses. Roger has won several outstanding article awards from entities including the Helen M. Yeager/L. Van Seawell Foundation, the HFMA and the MGMA.
