The Radius Approach. Our approach to service delivery is premised on the assumption that our clients are seeking management services and consulting assistance because they want to successfully move their organizations forward.  They need experienced consultants and executives who can help them evaluate complex issues, find solutions to their problems and design strategies to improve their positions.

Radius consultants and managers are senior executives with strong operational experience and proven expertise.  They serve under individual contracts and are not employees.  Unlike many national accounting and consulting firms, we do not build engagements on the need to keep junior staffers busy with unproductive fact-gathering exercises and the creation of large, time-intensive reports of questionable value.

As a result, our engagement teams are relatively small and highly knowledgeable.  Our reports are generally brief and idea-focused.  Strategic plans contain goals, objectives, action steps and success criteria.  Financial and volume projections are presented numerically and graphically.  We deal in concepts and answers, not protracted analyses.

Similarly we tend to work closely with client management and the medical staff at all levels.  We welcome the opportunity to utilize and develop client personnel.  In many cases Radius consultants supplement the client’s internal capabilities and play executive implementation roles.  In our view this enriches the organization and helps keep costs down.

We also deal directly with Boards of Directors on issues related to corporate missions, structural changes, management performances and other sensitive issues such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and service liquidations.  We are frequently involved in related legal and regulatory affairs such as HIPAA implementation and Stark II compliance.
